Speaking of auctions, while I was away in Brazil I missed on ebay this spectacular piece: a Mickey Mouse book published in Denmark in 1933.If the bidder who won this auction reads this blog, it would be great if he or she could contact me, as I suspect he /she might have an interesting collection of vintage foreign Disney books that might help put together a few articles for Tomart's Disneyana Update.

I've got a copy of MIKKEL MUS, TREDJE SAMLING ("Michael Mouse, 3rd Collection"). So if you don't get in touch with the guy who won it on eBay... (-:
This publisher, Gyldendal, had an initial MIKKEL MUS that was a Danish translation of ADVENTURES OF MICKEY MOUSE, BOOK ONE. But their MIKKEL MUS, ANDEN SAMLING ("Second Collection") and this third volume are instead collections of MICKEY MOUSE MOVIE STORIES reprints.
(Chugging along with you-know-what, by the way. And oh, what I'm learning!)
