I just received (thanks to Jan-Willem de Vries) this wonderful catalog (in Dutch) of a Donald Duck-related exhibition organized at the Stripmuseum in Groningen in 2012/2013.

Paging through it I learned that the Dutch magazine from the late 1930s, Olijk en Vrolijk, had featured a few Disney covers. See below.

I have contributed an in-depth, original essay to this catalog about the various projects (from 1978 to today) to get Mickey back to the silver screen. It covers both the produced and the abandoned projects and is full of new information.

I just received this ad for the upcoming 300-page long catalog of the Italian Mickey Mouse exhibition which I was mentioning a few weeks ago.

I also recently received the catalog of this French exhibition. It's a huge catalog, but unfortunately the artwork it contains has been seen often already.

I need to get a copy of the catalog from this Japanese exhibition. Could anyone help?

I just received yesterday the catalog of the Disney - Art of Storytelling exhibition which is currenty being displayed at The Nordic Watercolor Museum in Skärhamn, Sweden from March 20 to September 4, 2016.

This huge catalog, written by Tracey Miller-Zarneke and released in a bilingual version (Swedish / English) is a pure beauty and contains quite a lot of artwork that I had never seen before, with my favorite pieces being the concept drawings created for The Pied Piper of Hamelin, Pecos Bill and Robin Hood. Sheer delight, but unfortunately extremely difficult to get a hold of except if you know someone in Skärhamn, Sweden.

My brother, who lives in Shanghai for the moment, has promised to pick up a copy of the catalog of the Disney art exhibition that is currently taking place in that city. I will let you know how good it is when I get it in a few months.

I just discovered last week this catalog of a 2011 exhibition of Disney cels and thought that some of your might want to know that it exists. Really not a "must have". Only cels in here, nothing more exciting.

A beautiful exhibition of Disney art is taking place in Japan at the moment and until March 31, 2013. I just received the catalog and while most of the art and photos have been seen elsewhere, it does contain a few nice surprises, especially in the Fantasia section.
