I just bought this new book which contains two chapters about Eisenmann's Disney career. I will let you know in a few days what I think about it.

Most of the 1st half of the book is about Ike Eisenmann's Disney career.

And informative -
e.g. I had understood that Bill Dover was in charge of Disney casting during the 1970s -
Apparently they also had a Casting Director exclusively for Child actors.

The book is also difficult to put down - and sad.
He is brutally honest about people he encountered in the industry.

More specifically the troubling relationship with his jealous father (Billed Albert Able he did some small parts in 1970's Disney live action films: some of Ike's, some without Ike )
