Cartoonbrew mentioned two days ago an exhibition that is currently taking place at Disneyland featuring Disney Western Publishing book illustrators from the 1950s and 60s, including John Hench, Al Dempster, Retta Scott Worcester, Campbell Grant, Al White, Dick Kelsey, and several others.
I have heard recently that a book might be in preparation on that very subject. Is there any truth to that rumor? Would any of you know?

Some years ago, the late John Hench spent a morning with us at Disney Publishing discussing his illustrations for Western Publishing and the Disney story books. We had much of the original Disney art available for that meeting.

I've not heard anything about a new book, but I will certainly try and find out.

Thanks Mr. Fun. It could be just a rumor with no basis or maybe someone made a confusion with the exhibition. A book like this would make sense, though.
