One last note for today about obscure books. I had a quick email chat yesterday with my friend and animation historian Jim Korkis about what could be considered as "books about Disney" and whether books with an intro by Walt that were not absolutely about Disney could be included in that category. He mentioned that as far as he could remember "the only non-Disney book Walt wrote an introduction for was Art Linkletter's Kids Say the Darnest Things." Which reminded me that there is at least one more, but that one in French: Le Dessin Anime by Lo Duca published by Prisma Editions in 1948.
And since a young Milt Kahl appears on the cover, I thought you might enjoy it.
