Jimmy Johnson's autobiography, Inside the Whimsy Works, which was written in 1975 and that Greg Ehrbar and yours truly had the pleasure of editing, has finally been released by University of Mississippi Press. If you are interested in the business side of Disney from the '30s to the '60s, this book is definitely for you. It is full of information which has never been released elsewhere about how "Roy's departments" operated while Walt was still around. Jimmy was a great writter, so it's an easy read and a fun read. I have a feeling many of you will thoroughly enjoy it.
