It's finally official (through the website of his agent Victoria Sanders), Todd James Pierce's book Three Years in Wonderland will be released next year by University Press of Mississippi.

I can not hide my excitment. Todd is one of the co-editors of the Disney History Institute and a dear friend. I have read the manuscript and can tell you that this is by far one of the best Disney history books ever written. It is full of new information about the early days of Disneyland, reads like a novel (Todd is an extremely talented professional writer) and is a true revolution when it comes to the history of the first Disney park. Not to be missed in any way, shape or form.

"Three Years In Wonderland" has an intriguing title and pedigree... looks like a must have... any more hints as to its content?

Doing a little poking around I now see that the book is about the infamous C.V. Wood... it looks like the long wait for a book about the controversial but pivotal Disneyland pioneer is finally over...
