Randy Thornton has actually written quite bit about this set over at the MagicMusic.net forums:

This item was widely bootlegged a few years ago, when its original release was stopped. Disney has taken that original four-disk set and turned it into a five-disk set by releasing one of the tracks on its very own CD (totally unnecessary).
Incidentally, the stuff that the set contains is amazing! Demos, outtakes, Walt's entire narration of the "Magic Skyway"... definitely worth your while.
As others have said, this is the final release of a project that was started LONG ago. I believe Stacia Martin did lots of research on this and is probably the author of the book that accompanies the CD set.
I first heard of it on a blog 4 years ago. I downloaded a copy and have listened to it a lot since then, especially the iasw disk.
I will definitely get a copy of this set when it's issued next month and am especially looking forward to the book.
It looks like it was another project that Bruce Gordon was working on when he suddenly left us.
I've been looking forward to this set for a long time - I'm so glad that it's finally nearing release. I've summed up some of the set's history on my blog. Most of the information, though, can be gleaned from Randy Thornton's posts that were linked above. It's going to be a great set!
