To maintain the smile that comes from reading Jenny Lerew's post about the new Disney shorts, here is another of the beautiful never-seen-before photos of Walt from the collection of Mark Sonntag. This one again from the set of The Reluctant Dragon.

Speaking of Mark's photos, I just got this email from Are Myklebust about last week's photo of Walt and Mary:

[The photo of Walt and Mary is indeed taken in Swope Park, Kansas City, Missouri. They are standing in front of the Swope Memorial, raised in the memory of Thomas H. Swope (1827 – 1909), a land developer and philanthropist, who donated this land area to Kansas City in 1896. Swope Park was one of Walt’s favourite places in Kansas City.

The photo seems to be dated “April 2nd, 1922” at the top. The text to left seems to be “Swope Mausoleum”. ]
