Does any reader of the blog have any information about this homage to Walt Disney from Cuba the photo of which was recently sold on ebay?

  1. "Zig-Zag" was a Cuban weekly, published by cartoonists, Jose Manuel Rosenada, Silvio Fontanilla, Manuel Alonso, and Vergara. Six months after this plaque of admiration was sent to Walt Disney, the satirical magazine was seized by Fulgencio Batista, of whom it had been critical. "Zig-Zag" continued to be produced in exile; by the nineteen sixties, thousands of copies, printed in Miami, would be air-dropped over Cuba.
