I am not sure how I managed to miss the release of the book above at the end of last year but I am certain that I will soon pick it up.And, thanks to this post on CartoonBrew I will also buy the DVD below, which contains some elements directly connected to Disney history.

I flipped thru the Mickey Mouse Collectibles book at my local Barnes and Nobles and I thought it was a rip-off. Basically, the publisher pulled all the Mickey Mouse content out of Ted Hake's previous book, Disney Collectibles, and created this edition. Plus, all the photos in the MM collectible are black and white, while the Disney Collectibles book are color.
