22 of the illustrations found in the "Ropes" booklet were reproduced in 1945 in a Jacksonville Naval Air Station (JAX) Civil Service Employee handbook.

The cover of the JAX booklet also features the station's Disney-designed insignia - Donald Duck with a .50 calibre machine gun in his hand - framed in gunsights in the background is an illustration of Japanese leader Tojo.
